The Stallion 5/18 Trunnion Table is a perfect 4th axis fixturing solution for the HAAS HRT-210 Rotary Table. In this example, we are featuring two 5th Axis rocklock bases and V75100X Vises. This design is known as the Stallion Hybrid, and is utilized when a customer needs to keep a vise or chuck on their 4th axis. This fixture allows for the trunnion to stay mounted at all times, and parts can be taken from one rocklock base to another with relative ease.

The Stallion 9/23 Trunnion Table is a perfect 4th axis fixturing solution for the HAAS HRT-160 Rotary Table. In this example, we are featuring two Delta IV Orange Vises. The design also utilizes the TS400PNU Pneumatic Braking System to keep the 4th axis from flexing when machining heavy, off-center cuts. There is also a one inch riser block that resides underneath of the rotary table to ensure that the fixture can rotate 360 degrees when the workpieces are placed into the vises.

HRT-160 WITH SINGLE SIDED TRUNNIONThe Stallion 9/20 Trunnion Table is a perfect 4th axis fixturing solution for the HAAS HRT-160 Rotary Table. In this example, we are featuring three 5th Axis V552 Vises. The design also utilizes the TS1200 Hydraulic Braking System to keep the 4th axis from flexing when machining heavy, off-center cuts. There is also a one inch riser block that resides underneath of the rotary table to ensure that the fixture can rotate 360 degrees when the workpieces are placed into the vises.

HRT-310 with 4th axis triangleThe Stallion Triangle Trunnion Table offers the perfect blend of productivity and tool clearance. In this example, we are featuring the HAAS Automation HRT-310 and a 36" Stallion Triangle Fixture. On each face we are utilizing the flexible and efficient Triag Int. Workholding rail and power clamps which give us incredible versatility. The fixture is also supported by an outboard support that is made to match the center height of the rotary table as well as the TS400 Pneumatic Braking System to help maintain rigidity. This assembly is also mounted to a foundation plate that is made specifically for the HAAS Automation VF-4.

HRT-210 With 4th Axis TombstoneThe Stallion Tombstone Trunnion Table offers four times the productivity of a standard, single sided fixture. This particular setup features a 6" tombstone at a length of 36". It is attached to a HAAS Automation HRT-210 rotary table and mounts seamlessly to the bolt hole pattern of the faceplate. The outboard support is also matched to the center height of the rotary table and features the TS1200 Hydraulic Braking System for maximum rigidity. It also features the CDV vises from Advanced Machine and Engineering, which offers a variety of jaw angles to accommodate to your manufacturing process. This assembly is also mounted to a foundation plate that is made specifically for the HAAS Automation VF-5.

HRT-210 with stallion 9/23 trunnionAdding a 2" grid pattern to any cnc fixture opens the door to a variety of workholding options. In this example, we are utilizing the Triag Int. base rail and power clamps on the deck of a Stallion 9/23 Trunnion Table that features a 2" grid. The Triag product is incredibly flexible as the clamping modules can be moved anywhere on the base rail, allowing for a variety of workpiece lengths. This setup is directly attached to the faceplate of the HAAS HRT-210 Rotary Table. On the outboard support end, which is made to match the center height of the HRT-210, resides our TS400 Pneumatic Braking System. This assembly, along with the baseplate, are attached to a fixture plate that is made specifically for the HAAS VF-6.

The Stallion 9/35 Trunnion Table is often used for much larger workpieces than some of our smaller models. With a custom grid pattern, the Jergens inc. Fixture Pro Vises can be rotated in multiple orientations, allowing for a variety of workpieces. This fixture also warranted the addition of the TS400 Pneumatic Braking System, which keeps the trunnion table rigid. The entire assembly also resides on a foundation plate made specifically for the HAAS VF-6.

Tombstone style 4th axis workholding fixtures are great for high volume jobs. If a small, low profile workholding component, such as the 5th axis V75100X self centering vises are used, many parts can be completely machined in one or two cycles. In this example, the rocklock bases from 5th axis allow us to quickly and easily rotate the vises to complete several different operations all on the same workholding fixture. We are also using the HRT-310, which has tremendous weight capacity for large fixtures like this. We are also using the TS1200 Hydraulic Braking System to maintain rigidity.
